A note from the Founder of Reach Personal Branding.

Three words: Ditch. Dare. Do!

That’s the three-word title of my new book with CEO Coach (and one of my favorite people in the world) Deb Dib.

I am so excited about the launch of the book, I could jump out of my skin. It’s partly because we have been working on the manuscript on-and-off for the last four years – and it’s exciting to see the culmination of that work. But it’s mostly because this book distills everything we believe about professional success and fulfillment into an easy-to-read instruction manual. We are really proud of what we created and confident that it will have an impact.

Here’s what Deb says:

Personal branding changed my life. Period. In my Strat training William helped me articulate my purpose, my ideal clients, and myself, for the first time. It was, empowering, fireworks, magic. Then I saw that happen for every personal branding client I worked with—no matter how successful, they became more so—they became influential, indispensable, and incredibly happy at work. They and their companies benefited from their strong executive brand—and I loved it!

Now, William and I have distilled what we do with our private clients into the first executive branding book designed for executives and for their companies. It’s bold, brief, irreverent, and real—it speaks to the challenges of today. I’m incredibly proud and honored that William invited me onto the project, and prouder still of what our book will bring to executives everywhere who have the courage to Ditch. Dare. Do!

With Ditch. Dare. Do! we challenge long-held assumptions about career success, and dare the reader (YOU) with a ‘ditch’ (a mindset that must be shattered), a ‘dare’ (a challenge to up your game), or a ‘do’ (a critical action that must be taken NOW!). When you take on these challenges you’ll advance your career while delivering greater value to your organization.

In writing the manuscript, Deb and I wrote what we would want to read. We made it fun, irreverent, potent and actionable (at least we think so). You’ll have to tell us what you think!
